Sep 16, 2009 Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of malt, medium notes of caramel, and light notes of spices. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of malt and medium notes of caramel, leaing to a dry alcohol finish. The alcohol burns lightly on the palate. May 5, 2009 Pours a transparent bright copper amber with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet dark caramel light fruits and a touch of biscuity malts. Body starts with good fullness and honeydew fruity character along with some mild bitterness before a semi-dry warming finish. Could use a more dominant Belgian yeasty flavor, but still a good attempt at the style.
