Pours a nice copper/amberish color with a small head. Sweet malt and fruit dominate the aromas. Flavor is of Sweet malts that transforms into a dark fruit/cherry flavors. Some alcohol flavor lingers as the bitter hops finish. Very good brew!

Dec 19, 2009 Traded bottle. Pours a clear brown/orange colour with no real head. Relatively still pour with just some sporadic bubbles. Pretty busy aroma with caramel malt, chocolate, spicy hops and some candy sugar. Flavour: like a quad mixed with a winter warmer if that makes sense. Just a little naked alcohol in the finish. Pretty true to form for a quad and a pleasant surprise.

Nov 20, 2009 12 oz. bottle bought at Riley’s o a recent trip,Pours burnt copper and clear with long lasting small off white head and thin body,with aromas of caramel malts,yeast,hops and spices taste is of the same with a caramel malt sweetness up front followed by friuts and spices with a very minamal hop presence easy drinking would do it again

Nov 1, 2009 Amber pour. Aroma is very malty. Lots of caramel, some yeast and honey. Flavor is a total malt bomb with a slight metallic finish. Sweet but not cloying. A VERY light hop finish.

Sep 16, 2009 Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of malt, medium notes of caramel, and light notes of spices. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of malt and medium notes of caramel, leaing to a dry alcohol finish. The alcohol burns lightly on the palate. Aug 30, 2009 12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Pours clear and golden orange to hazzlenut brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild metallic, light overripe fruity note. Sweet fruity, dark caramelish and mild metallic note. Dark and dry caramel malty lingering finish.
