| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Its Jacksin, not jackson Bright grapefruit arom, one of superior quality, hops overshadowing any malt quality, sweet and tangy amlt comes through in flaovr with all kinds of citrusy ornaments, reminding you of the hops you thought would dominate,a very pleasant bitter finish(not really punishing as the label predicts)All the wonderful qualities of a great DIPA. A slightly gentler body makes this an extremely drinkable big hop brew, you can’t say that about most, but the price diminishes the chance that you can in fact have more then 1 or 2

Pours a rich amber color with a medium off-white head which leaves a few lines of lacing. Aroma is caramel malts, citrus hops, tangerine, and orange. Taste is much the same. Tastes more like an APA or IPA than a DIPA. It actually has a more pungent malt backbone than I expected. Not too bad. Juelze (910), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
