Commercial Description:
This Double IPA finishes at 8.25% ABV, and has a bitter bite at over 100 IBUs. As far as the dominant hop goes, three pounds of Centennial hops per barrel give our double IPA a slightly punishing yet entirely pleasing bitterness that dances on the tongue.

Pours a nice amberish/copper color with a medium off white head. Wonderful huge citrus/grapefruit aromas dominate the nose. Flavor is of great citrusy hops that fade into a nice light malt backing, then the nice final bitter finish. The body seems very mild for a DIPA,but makes this a very easy drinking brew. The only problem is the price is pretty steep to make this a regular in my fridge. Thanks BBL!!!!

Bottle. Had a pine and floral aroma with some sweet malt not exactly the crisp aromas of most that light up the nose. Amber body with small off white head. More of a malt backbone and little heavy to drink. Hoppy flavor was there on the finish. Just little thick bodied and didn’t really get the refreshing ahhhhh.

Bottle at the Comet Cafe in Milwaukee. Pours a rich amber color with a medium off-white head which leaves a few lines of lacing. Aroma is caramel malts, citrus hops, tangerine, and orange. Taste is much the same. Tastes more like an APA or IPA than a DIPA. It actually has a more pungent malt backbone than I expected. Not too bad.

Pours a rich amber color with with thick off white head. Aroma is of intense floral notes, tangerine and orange. Slight pine aroma also wafts in. Taste is Centennial all the way, but there is a bit more caramel backbone in this then some other Centennial IPAs. Finishes clean with a resinous hop mouthfeel. Solid.

Pours a deep reddish brown cloudy color with a magnificent tan head that leaves a nice sticky lacing. Aroma of pine and citrus notes, with subtle floral and caramel scents beneath it. Taste is dominated by the bitterness of hops, with very little sweetness to balance it. Slightly watery mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle. Pours aa nice copper / amber colored brew with a thin off-white head and sticky lacing. Aroma of just plain hops! Grapefruit, tangerine, a hint of caramel and some apple cider. Taste is medium to full bodied, some carbonation with flavors of grapefruit, tangerine and some caramel. Finish is slightly dry,

12 oz. bottle via trade with Ughsmash - Pours a clear mahogany color with a large two finger thick light tan head that took its sweet time to settle. Thick lacing. Aroma is big time floral hops. Flavor is resin and floral hops with a good bit of sweet malt. Smooth finish. Medium to full body. This beer was a great surprise. Thanks Jason.
