The light fruity aroma and subtle flavors of Tripel Nova disguise the euphoric kick that comes after just one serving of this strong Belgian ale.

Pours a hazey golden colour with a full white head. Sticky lacing, Aromas of pears, bananna and wheat. Taste is sweet and easily disguises the high ABV. Great beer all around.

Draft at the brewery. Pours lightly hazy yellow with almost no head. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Taste is pretty much the same, some lemons, orange, cloves and some banana coming through. Nice and light I thought. I’m not usually a fan of this style, but I dig this interpretation of it.

Warm syrup and alcohol hit the nose and tongue. Sweet, with hints of grape, prune, lemon, honey, and olive oil. Ends with citrus and alcohol. Thick, syrupy body compliments the fruit and alcohol mood.

Poured a lightly hazy orange amber color with a small ring of white bubbles, light lacing left on the glass. Aroma of banana, citrus fruits, yeast, and some candi sugar. Taste of honey, sweeter candi sugar, banana, light clove, yeast, and a bit of alcohol in the finish.

Pours a yellow-bronze color with a thick pillowy head and plenty of lacing. Aroma is yeasty with hints of wheat and banana/clove. Taste is fruity with hints of banana and yeast. Very easy drinking for 9.7% alcohol!

On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a pillowy froth of wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of complex sweet pale Belgian malt with some light candi sugar and doughy Belgian yeast with some light fruity esters. Starts with nice sweet light caramel flavor with authentic bready yeasty balance and light fruity complexity with a touch of peppery spice and a smooth finish that hides the abv well. A very nice and true to style Tripel.

[Growler courtesy of Skyview] Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is yeasty, spicy--not bad. Taste is the same with a little grain. Very carbonated when first poured. Medium-thin mouthfeel.
