Commercial Description:
Bright copper color, sparkling clarity, and good foam retention when properly served. Appealing Brussels lace. Deep toasty/caramelly malt balanced by spicy/fruity hop flavors accented by fruit esters resulting from fermentation with a championship yeast strain. The aroma is subtle and reflects the flavor with malt, hop and fruit (ester)/fermentation characteristics. Smooth, medium-bodied. Easy drinking with no harsh or astringent sensations.

color is orange and slightly translucent but still cloudy enough to draw intregue. aroma is of biscuit malt, spice, a touch esthery alcohol. mouthfeel is the winner here, which is where often inferior beers of the style fall short. spicy and effervescent, reminscent almost of a good marzen, the flavor lingers and coats just enough to keep this from the dilution often associated with some english pales and ESBs. a great solid and substantial beer.

Bottle from FlacoAlto, thanks! Amber color. Red berries, earthy hops and a hint of biscuit in aroma and flavor. Just a tad thin. Solid hopbitter aftertaste with berries. Tasty ale.

Bomber. Pours burnt orange with a huge, creamy head. Aroma heavy on hops, citrus, orange peel, flowers, and candy sugar. Palate is nice and prickly, with a long finish. Flavor is satisfyingly bold, with a nice array of grapefruit, kumquat, and lemon. Very refreshing, and well brewed.

Bottle from easy E! Poured aggresive....big head. Orange in color. Grassy aroma. Taste is kind of complex. Toasty, fruity, little spices, still grasy hops. Average texture and carbonation. Nice beer. Thanks Spark!

Bottle at Holiday Alesmith tasting. Sweet nose. Nice strong amber color with a light fluffy head. As the beer settled the head became thick and creamy. Taste was malty and sweet. Hints of pineapple came out.

Clear orange-red pour with a thin white head. Lots of carbonation and nice lacing on the glass. Tropical fruity aroma - mango, pineapple. I had this on draft a the brewery. Not quite as good as the sample I had there. Similar flavor...Tropical fruits with roasty malt backbone. Dry and fruity. Smooth and easy to drink. Some hops to finish. Good session beer.
