Commercial Description:
Bright copper color, sparkling clarity, and good foam retention when properly served. Appealing Brussels lace. Deep toasty/caramelly malt balanced by spicy/fruity hop flavors accented by fruit esters resulting from fermentation with a championship yeast strain. The aroma is subtle and reflects the flavor with malt, hop and fruit (ester)/fermentation characteristics. Smooth, medium-bodied. Easy drinking with no harsh or astringent sensations.

Pours a light cloudy brown color with a somewhat sudsy off-white head. Not too strong of a nose. Smells mostly of semi-toasty malts with a nice hoppy backbone. Not too bitter as the name would suggest. Lots of malt and some hops. A little light caramel flavor to the finish. Not too thin not too thick. Nice and crisp with great carbonation. Not my favorite style of beer, but this brew is very tasty.

Bottle; poured a golden red with some floaties. Aroma of caramel and grapefruit. Flavor was much of the same and good for the style. Also some notes of floral and perfume. A style I don’t love, but this one was pretty tasty.

Bottle: Dark copper pour with a thick, creamy beige head. Nice thick lacing. Aroma is mild with maltiness, fruits, and citrus. Flavor is very well balanced, malty, florals, citrus, caramel, and a medley of fruitiness. I think this is a great example of the style and very well done.

22oz bottle from Bevmo Carmel Mountain. Beer pours a burnt orange/ copper color, head was medium sized and off white. Nice lacing. Nose was malty (caramel, toffee, raisiny), and also hoppy (grapefruit, pine and grass). Nice easy mouthfeel with a slightly bitter finish. A great one!
