Bottled. A murky orange-brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, wood, and bourbon. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, wood, and bourbon, on a thick caramel back ground. The alcohol leaves a slight burn in the throat.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a cloudy, dark, orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Distinct aroma of oak and bourbon. Quite full-bodied, extremely complex, lots of roasted malts, dried fruits - raisins in rum - and again these great bourbon accents. The finish is rather bitter. Very pleasant. 270607

750ml bottle. Bottle # 69/280. Poured a deep and cloudy brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of oaky woodiness, vanilla, dark fruits, and some caramel. Tastes of dark fruits, vanilla, bourbon (but not over powering), wood, chocolate, and oak. Medium alcohol burn in the finish.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Murky caramel-colored ale with a short-lived, fat-bubbled, off-white head. Apparently, hyphens rock too! The aroma is meaty and rich with gobs of caramel and a bourbon/wood swirl. Full-bodied and oily with lazy carbonation. Caramel-sweet and woodsy with a big note of vanilla and a lesser notation of coconut. Nice, hoppy, boozy bitterness and moderate acidity. Lengthy, warm, caramel and bourbon finish. Major kudos to pepsican for providing this rare treat!
