Poured an opaque black color. The head was brown with an orange tint. Smelled of chocolate, vanilla, and distinct dog food that detracted somewhat. Full bodied and slightly sweet with a hint of bourbon. I also tasted vanilla, toffee, and some roasted malt. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

Pours an almost black color with a fairly big bubled brown head. God this shit is good. Aroma has tons of chocolate and bourbon followed by molasses, roasted malt and some coffee and oak notes. Flavor is full, rich and goddamn good. Bourbon integrates so well in this beer it is ridiculous. Coffee notes in the nose aren’t really evident on the tongue...but the wood, vanilla, bourbon, chocolate, brown sugar, molasses and slight hop bite is noticeable in every sip. The progression from cold to warm is quite amazing in this beer...a real gem. Hell yeah. SledgeJr (2966), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Bourbon, rich malt, vanilla, and light coffee aroma. Bourbon, malt, vanilla, light fruity flavor with of course, coffee. Medium-plus bodied. Bourbon lingers with vanilla, rich malt, and light coffee. Lighter bodied than expected. Bourbon components are strong, but they complement more than in the BAON I’d had. BMan1113VR (2914), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
