The aroma is very sweet and very malty with strong notes of caramel, but also with signs of the alcohol. The flavor contains strong notes of wood and alcohol, combined with notes of caramel and vanilla, as well as light notes of whiskey. The alcohol tickles the tongue while drinking, and mouthfeel is thick. Papsoe (14982), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Aroma of raisins and bourbon - a very distinctive and pleasant aroma that is. Good, full body, slightly tart with massive alcohol. Notes of dried fruit - raisins in particular - raisins soaked in rum, or rather Bourbon as the oak and vanilla really shines through. Lots of roasted malt. Subdued bitterness. A lovely brew. 020606 omhper (12185), Stockholm, Sweden

Aroma of vanilla and caramel. Sweet and softly malty. Full bodied and velvetty, chocolatey and syrupy with lots of bourbon and spun sugar. A massive and compelc beer with a richness that is seldom seen. The character of teh Wee Heavy is really well suited for barrel aging, and this is nicely done. In the finish warming alcohol prevails. A mindlowing beer. If there is anything i could change I’d try to make it less sweet. joergen (8539), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Full on assertive bourbon aroma with toffee, caramel and light vanilla. Sweet, soft, very candyish vanilla, caramel, and bourbon on the palate. Very dessert-like. Some late acidity and hints of brown sugar, rum and bourbon. Slight alcoholic dryness. Very full body. Good brew - nose is out of balance and its picked up some tartness but this is quality.
Original rate: Burgundy colour. Hazy but vibrant. Big clean malty nose with a brash vanilla/bourbon character. Simple but rather fantastic. Rich, bourbon/maple character. Not a ton else, but nuts to that, it’s still beautiful. 8-3-8-4-16 = 3.9 KimJohansen (7005), Copenhagen V, Denmark
