Nov 21, 2008 Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet with note of malt and fruit, leading to a dry woody finish where also a light note of roasted malt mingles in. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Nov 21, 2008 75 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours pitch black with a fully diminished off-white head. Mild spiced and roasted malty aroma. Chocolate and hardroasted malty flavoured with a distinct acidic note showing through. Smooth and roasted malty flavoured into the finish with a mild vanilla note into a dry finish.

Black color. Very solid brew, strong body, good chocolate flavor (the aroma is simpler), sweet enough, touch of roasted malt, good hopping, strong bitterness and pleasant warming alcohol; powerful. The final has also some roasted nuts Very good.

Dec 30, 2008 Deep mahogany with mediumbeige creamy head. Aroma was sweet malty with caramel and hoppy notes. Flavour was sweet with roasted malt, caramel and dusty hops. Finished quite bitter with warming alcohol.

Apr 11, 2009 Courtesy of After4ever, thanks Tom. It is black with a red hue and a light brown, creamy head. The aroma is vinous with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits and vanilla. The flavour has a light sweetness and a light, roasted bitterness and notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, dark fruits, vanilla, light wood and warming alcohol. The finish has a nice bitterness.
