Citrusy and sweet, easy body and crisp and light finish made it easy to drink. The kind lady providing the sample said it was "good for chicks". Nicely put! | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2004 Light orange color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and citrusy, spicy and yeasty. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. Fruity and sweet, orange and coriander. Bright yeasts. Light and refreshing. Nice malts are hiding in the background of this one. A very nice fruity and dry finish. This beer is understated when compared to some of the rest of the Alesmith line, but it stand up very well on its own. Mouthfeel is full nad round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. The beer pours a limpid amber color with a largish white head that is creamy in texture and the resultant lace a fine curtain to obscure the glass. Sweet malt aroma at the front, citrus like crispness, hints of orange peel, and refreshing. Start is slightly sweet, pleasingly malted and the top middling in its feel, finish has a benign acidity, the hops purposeful in their spicy bite, desert dry after taste that lingers, a nice drinkable beer, not bad, not great, just a good thirst quenching beer.
