Golden Belgian style, represented by yellow with head head and lace. Funky yeast aroma and taste Sweetish but otherwise fine Belgian, leaving a sweet aftertaste. Offset really spicey stuff, a soda pop transition beer.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 26, 2006 Light orange cream aroma, bold with floral herbs. Some bright esters coming from the bold yeast character. Pour of orangish gold. Wispy sweet caramel and lightly profused citrus spice qualities. Acerbic and certain with lemon, from both rind, pith and juice. Nicely down, however a little cloying and yeasty at the backend for me. kramer (2524), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 8, 2006 On tap, Downtown Johnny Brown’s. Pours a slightly hazy dark yellow gold with a small tight bubbled beige head. Aroma is sweet and packed with coriander and citrusy notes, lighter notes of yeast and some orange peel. Flavor is heavy on the coriander as well, behind it a nice soft maltiness. Quitey fruity with a slight tinge of yeast. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, fairly thick, with moderate prickly fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice, but I could go for a little less coriander. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 17, 2006 on tap at the brewery - This ale has a light aroma of yeast and malt with a hint of spice. The flavor is fairly sweet with a mildly hoppy finish. It’s smooth going down and thus an easy to drink beer that could easily be a session brew. It’s rather refreshing. I don’t like it as much as Horny Devil, but then I’m often partial to big beers.
