Draft at Stone Bistro. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt and spices - especially coriander. The flavor is sweet and very malty with notes of hops, grass, and alcohol, that burns lightly in the throat, as well as light notes of grapefruit, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Garthicus, Blankboy, and GregClow, big thanks to greg for this one! Yellow, no head. Nice strong alcohol, fruity, dry tripel aroma. Good taste - sweet, malty, hoppy, strong alcohol, good carbonation. A very well done by the books tripel.

12 oz bottle from Whole Foods Bowery. Pours a nice orange with white head. Full flavored taste of belgian spices, dough, and light fruits (orange). Was very surprised at alc content, as I tasted none. Medium dry finish. Not overly complex, but execellent representation of the style.. flavorful and delicious. Sessionable.

Bottle. Aroma of melon, orange, tropical fruits, bready malt, light peppery spices. Flavor very bold fruits (seemingly both esters and hops) on light yeast with strong, airy, almost juicy, bready malt. Very drinkable with the hops and the dryness. Excellent.

330 ml bottle. It poured a cloudy golden liquid with a small foam that left no lacing. The aroma was sweet and fruity and had some grassy hops. It tasted sweet with grassy hops and had a medium bitterness. Very nice beer although it didn’t taste belgium to me, but more american.

Tap at the Ginger Man in NYC. Slightly hazy bright golden color with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, yeast, citrus, green apple, and mild hops. Flavor is more of the same with light fruits and some west coast hops on the finish. Dry, crisp palate with medium body. Excellent tripel.

Bottle. Pours a semi-cloudy orange with hardly any head. Aroma of sweet yeasty malt, melon, apple, and sweet fruit. Flavor of sweet light fruits and yeasty/bready malts. Some harshness in the palate but otherwise quite nice. 8/4/7/4/14 (3.7/5)
