pours on the orange side of golden with a small whitish head. it is hazy but most of the yeast is now in clumps. faint aroma... honey, dry straw, noble-ish hops, light yeast and some orange. the palate is not too sweet... though it would have been an issue if this were released in bombers. flavors of straw, peach, savory yeast and orange with spicy hops on the finish. there is not a lot happening in this... however, the lack of complexity does make it easy to drink. the medium body has a thickness to it which is aided by prickly carbonation. 6/3/6/3/15/3.3

12 oz bottle from Andersons in Toledo, OH. This poured a hazy straw yellow, with a small off white head. The aroma was actually quite hoppy for the style(improper beer storage?) and I was quite surprised by this. The flavor more or less followed suit, being sort of like a proper Belgian mixed with some subtle IPA notes. Quite an interesting brew, considering the conditions by which it was created. Cheers!

So I checked out this beer because it was something new, two brewers that are supposed to be great and a newbie. I don’t know exactly how I feel about this beer, but I certainly don’t dislike it. It’s a straw yellow color with a white head and some bubbles. It didn’t really have a huge aroma, but smelled a little bit hoppy. When I tasted it, I couldn’t immediately put a finger on the taste, but I finally decided that it tasted of cantaloupe melons. I’m not sure that I even want to rate this the way I did - I keep changing my mind about it. It was certainly good, but I’m not sure that I would drive another 90 miles to get a bottle.

clear golden, think white head. minimal aromas, some grass and bread, a bit of orange peel, maybe some pineapple. flavor is a nice mix of belgian fruityness and hoppy florals. alcohol is completely hidden. overall it’s a bit timid for this trio of breweries, but it’s very nice and refreshing.

Many thanks to Gregclow for sharing this. Appearance: Orange, no visible carbonation, small white head. Aroma: Well, it certainly smells like a triple! Yeast, orange, pepper and lime juice. Flavour:Bitter yet a maple syrup character, sugar, yeast, slightly hoppy and a nice herbal finish.

12oz bottle. Orange with a white head. Spicy, floral, and hoppy aroma with some oranges. The flavor is spicy and bitter for a tripel, a little on the sweet side, with citrus flavors. The mouthfeel is a little rougher than I would have liked, but still not too bad. A good tripel with a unique flair, though I’m not in love with it.

Bottle gifted by Marcus, to whom I am thankful for his generosity and generally good taste. Poured a clear brilliant orange with a decent white head. Mildly funky aroma with light malt, light stone fruit and arguably citrus hop. Medium body with mild carbonation. The flavor starts with yeast/spice, followed by a little caramel and some hop bitter. The mouth starts to pucker. There’s a hint of kandi towards the finish, but this is a dry and bitter brew. Except there’s still a hint of kandi. Damn good stuff. Not one of those really heavy tripels.

Not very carbonated and low head quality. Interesting aroma that I can’t put my finger on. Good flavors of dried fruit and some hoppy bitterness. This beer finishes pretty dry and hoppy finish. A little too much malty sweetness for my liking. I like a little more variation in flavor.
