Bottle. Pours hazy with floatings, and small white dissipating head. Very low carbonation, even for a regular beer and particularly for a belgian style. Aroma of yellow plums, prune, hint of dried apricots, grainy malt and faint noble hops. Maybe some apples pears and spicy phenolics in the background. Overall very sweet, fruity and malty aroma. Big bodied and full flavor. Quite hoppy and bitter with huge maltiness. Nice components, but it don\t quite go together in a quaffable beer. Like most american attempts to brew belgian, this is too sweet, malty and bitter.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Golden body with slight head. Spicy nose with fruit notes. Taste of fruits, hops and malts towards the end. Slight tartness. A really nice variety on the Tripel with sharp American hoppiness, and then bitterness. Well done. But too subtle to make it in the 4.0 range.

Bottle Pours out a clear gold topped with a white head. Aroma spice, some sweetness, and a little malt. Tast more of the spice and sweetess. A little bitterness on the end.

I poured out every drop of ths beer and was crystal clear golden yellow. Not sure where my cloudyness was. Aroma is light spice and taste is really crisp and clean. Very drinkable and no bad flavors here. Nice belgain candy sugar and mellow spices, really nice collab, simple and elegant.

This cloudy golden ale poured with a modest off-white head and a toffee aroma. The flavor is complex, even for a tripel. It has most of the characteristics of a Belgian tripel, such as sweet caramel malt, spices and a lot of yeast. However, there is also a fairly bitter hop presence, which is probably a nod to the American and Danish styles. Overall, a pretty decent brew, but it doesn’t seem to reap the potential expected from a collaboration of three of the top brewers in the world.

Growler from the brewery. Pours cloudy golden color with thin white head. Aroma sweet, citrus hops, spicey and yeasty. Taste spicey, bready and mild bitter hops with bitter finish.

odd complex odor, a little like baloney, some peach, powdered sugar not unpleasant just unexpected, since im thinking malt liquor (maybe a little darker yellow than most) but the aroma is much rounder, with no chemical aspect. fragrant in the mouth. . the flavor is sweet but not cloying, honey, cantaloupe and powdered sugar a trill of hops.unsettled but mild finish. good warming but the alcohol taste is well-disguised..
