Aroma of pear, apple, some spice, plenty of yeast, and a nice bit of citrus. Flavor is a bit thin, with some nice lighter fruit notes, spices, yeast, and a nice resiny citrus finish. The best part about this one is that it is not at all overly sweet, as the lemon and orange notes really linger and create a nice balance. Full mouthfeel with a dry finish. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 10, 2009 KLCC Microbrewfest ’09: Pale golden pour with a smaller white head. Aroma is light with citrus hops and some faint maltiness. Just a little spice. Flavor is fruity, citrus, some light spices, and yeast. Just not a lot going on here in the taste or smell. I had higher expectations from this. ChrisThomson (415), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2009 This one pours a nice hazy amber with a nice white head. Aroma a nice fruity spice, orange, tangerine, ginger, clove and a little bit of musky dampness. The flavor is so-so. There isn’t much going on that stands out in this beer. Don’t get me wrong, it is damn tasty, but surprisingly nothing worth going out of my way for again, and worth $5.00 for 12. oz....naw. nbutler11 (773), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2009 On tap at Winter Storm. Pours a light copper color with an off-white head. Definitely a belgian in appearance. Smells and tastes of flour, salt, and mild red apples. Faint notes of grass and pepper are distant, if not distracting. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2009 I am really not sure what this beer is supposed to be. It was ok and I really didnt get a huge sample of it. It wanted to be belgian but it really kinda came out as a west coast pale ale with some weird malt vibe to it. idk, interesting project i guess. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Bottled. Poured clear lighter orange with just a wispy dusting and some sticky white lacing. The aroma picked up pale and pilsener-type maltage with zesty citrus, peppery notes, and grassy hoppage.. warmth brought out even more hops in the form of catty floral notes. The flavor opened with a thick dose of hops and I wish it had more spices.. floral, orange zest, and grassy notes were all there.. bready malts supported and were kind of sticky at the end.. peppery spices and warmth rose on the finish. Medium-bodied with a whole lot of hops present on the bitter palate.. decent feel through the mouth.
