| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 4, 2009 Light and amber with a shade of a haze. Thin white foam. Sour grapefruit aromas with some good yeast. Something mojito-y about it with lime and hints of mint (I agree with JaBier). Smooth and floury, banana wisps from the yeast. A touch of the lambic about it. Interestingly spicy and acidic. A reliable and easy-drinking Belgian. Could serve as a really great gateway to some more complex beers. Yeasty and grassy aroma with some hop and dare I say it...mint. Maybe not, but something herbal. Burst of yeast flavor up front, quickly giving way to pepper and a nice hop finish. This is the kind of Belgian I can drink. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 2, 2009 This brew is a hazy deep golden color with a medium thin and foamy off-white head that burns away slowly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast and peppery hops, plus a touch of citrus. Medium body with flavors of yeast and sweet cloves countered by pepper and a nice infusion of hops. Fruity at times too. The finish is crisp and hoppy with a fruit and yeast aftertaste. Solid all around. LinusStick (1855), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 1, 2009 A nice tripel. Aroma was all light fruit. Apricot, white grape and pineapple. Pour was a light cloudy gold- darker than a lot of tripels- with a thin white ring for a head. Taste was just like the aroma. All the light fruits mentioned before. Apricot, white grape and pineaplle with a sweet clear candi sugar aftertaste. Not as much carbonation as some of the great Belgian tripels, but good. One of the better American takes on the style (well I guess somewhat American) ucusty (1921), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 27, 2009 Pours a very clear light amber with a smallish white head that dissipates into a film. This is probably the clearest Tripel I have ever consumed. Aroma is medium sweet with banana, citrus, belgian yeast and light carmalized malt. Flavor is wheaty, doughy, cirurs and sweetness derived from candi sugar. Medium to full bodied, very Long citric bitter finish.
