Pours clear, pale gold, with a quarter inch head of white. Lacework is meager after the thin head fades to a placid surface. Aromatics lead off with peaches, apricots, and light malt. Some faint peppery, citric notes follow through along with some clove and bubblegum. Light to medium bodied, with a crispish and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Lush tropical fruit start the palate. Mangoes, apricots, peaches, and melons. A firm bitterness steps quickly forward as well as some drying gypsum-like character. Warming alcohol, light malt, and a peppery afterthought follow through. Finishes with lingering ripe fruit, drying bitterness, and a warmth on the throat. Tasty. Loads of Amarillo and Simcoe fruitiness, and the beer drinks scarily easily. My only gripe is that this beer should no way be filtered. Too clean and light on the carbonation.

Bottle sample at Skyview tasting. Pour was golden with a little lacing. Aroma was of sweet malts. Flavor was very good, malty, sugary and fruity to start and finished very nice and mellow.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep golden color ale with a generous pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some dry European hops also noticeable. Taste is also a mix between some sweet Belgian-style malt with a dry hoppy finish. Full body with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. While this was very enjoyable, it definitely lacked some fruity ester or a spicy peppery yeast.

Sampled at Skyview’s tasting. Golden pour with a thin white head. Citrus, clove, and spices make up this brew. Mouthfeel is sweet, but yet this finishes dry. So so beer. I guess I expected more given the quality brewers involved with this project.

Pours a very slightly hazy copper yellow with thin white head. Aroma is sweet almond paste, caramel and cloves. Flavor is yeast with light candy sugar with a little bit of a citrus zest present. Each sip followed by a note of hops, which I think is giving it a bit of a kick and talking the bite off the sweet sugar. I am certainly pleased.

12oz bottle thanks to WeeHeavySD. Pours golden orange with thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, light frutis and malt with touch of yeast. Flavor is hops, citrus, light fruits, peppery and some light malts. Nice malty balanced with good hop flavor. A very american tripel. I wish they were all this way.
