12 oz bottle thanks to pantanap. Pours a clear orange golden with a thin soapy ring of a head. Light malt nose touch of lemon, cracker, and hairspray. Lemony malts sweet and slightly spicy with a few notes of alcohol coming through. Light body and sweet, but overall nothing too great.

12oz bottle from hophead22.....poured a semi-transparent apple cider brown with a thin, wispy off white head..... aroma of citrus notes and honey.... flavors were generally sweet, citrusy, phenolic, a little peppery and earthy hop in the finish but mostly sweet overall.

12oz. Bottle Stone/Mikkeller/AleSmith Pours a nice golden color, nice carbonation, nice little white head, with minimal sticky lacing. The nose is malty, slight yeast, with some hops, licorice and spice. The taste is malty, yeasty, with some licorice notes, slightly spicey. Medium body. Very drinkable, this is a very different tripel, very tasty. Highly recommended. Thanks Eric.

Bottle generously shared by footbalm. Pours a clear orange with a tiny white head. The aroma is very interesting; some light citrus and bananas, but a ton of hops also. The flavor also has the basic ingredients of a triple; loads of sweet malts, some yeast, banana esters, but also a ton of hops. A very interesting take on a great style.

Apricot color with a soft white head that leaves some lacing and dissipates into a ring around the glass. Aroma of pepper, bubblegum, oranges, and cloves. Nice hoppyness to start, almost a bit piney, but then strong citrus comes in before it shifts to a combination of clove, spice, and tangerine. Higher than medium carbonation with a less than medium body. Pretty drinkable, but I prefer my Tripels with less hops, I think. Thanks to doubleo for the bottle.

Bottle. The lightly hazy, golden amber body is strewn with ultra-fine, effervescing, champagne-like bubbles that pool into a compact, foamy white head. Jagged lines of lace form like a mountainous silhouette in the background, slowly breaking apart and dripping downward towards the underlying liquid pool. The aroma is hoppy for a tripel, bitter, peppery grass notes and hints of lemongrass showing alongside pils malts and a touch of candy sugar. Flavors are a bit sweeter than the nose indicates, sweet candy sugar and pale malts being accompanied by a dry, doughy, Belgian yeast and more peppery, grassy hops, and bitter orange peel. The body is substantial and fizzy, finishing dry, alcoholic, and slightly astringent. This is fairly well done for the style, but tripels just aren’t my thing, and this one is no exception.

#993 On tap@Stone Bistro: Light chill haze golden color with a small (bar pour) bright white head. Aroma is fruity sweet, spicy and floral. Flavor starts sweet with citrus and apricot followed by yeast spiciness and a long dry light orange rind finish. Full body is creamy with moderate carbonation. Light warming in the throat.

Bottle thanks to doubleo. Pours a gold with bright white head. Very fruity nose with banana. Flavor is yeasty, banana, citrus, and a little grain. You can tell this thing has a punch of alcohol in it also, really starts to warm you up. medium body that is very smooth to the finish.
