Unclear yellow of color with a white head. A dry aroma of spice, dried fruits, citrus and weak sweets. A flavor of spice, citrus, yeast, hops and dry.

12 fl oz bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear golden with a small white cap. Aroma: Soft yeast, dough and citrus, slight tang, a touch of wood, some peppery hops, a bit of hay and grass, actually like a Pils to me. Palate: Medium body and very soft, sparse effervescence. Flav.: Again, it comes off as a Pils with soft, supple malts wrapping peppery, grassy hops, some yeast and dough, very light citrus and wood notes; dry with a little bitterness and a little alcohol.

Tasty, but not what I would expect in a Tripel or in a collaborative effort from these three monster breweries!

Bottle. Moderate malt and hop notes of grain and lemon/orange, light leather for the yeast and hints of wood wine and peach. Head is small, fizzy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, watery but a little slick, with a lively carbonation and a dry finish. A very well made Tripel, complex and very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a lighter golden color. Aroma contains lots of sweet malts, spices, and touches on oranges. Flavor is very sweet up front, bubbley on the tongue, and ends up with lots of spices and bittering hops in the finish. This one was all about the finish for me, which lingered nicely after sipping the beer. A good tripel, but nothing to rant about anywhere.

a very special celebratory beer after the birth of my son. grandma brought it down with her from Toledo (Andersons market). clear gold pour with a thin white head. nice belgian funk smell - spices, flowers and some citrus. spicey yeast taste up front then caramel, grapes and bitter hops. perfect velvety medium texture. slight pucker in the finish. doesn’t show alcohol. good stuff - very drinkable. K doesn’t normally love tripels but she liked this one a lot.

12oz bottle, yellow gold color, with a white head, yeasty, sweet hoeyed, grainy, pale malt nose, with some green apple, candied lemon peel esters, with a bready dough, light corny sweetness accent, and a mild spicy note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate, with a yeasty, fruity, juicy, mild citrusy, honeyed pale malt, warmth character, with a flowery hop lemony, leafy accent, with some light spiciness, leading towards a warming, honeyish, candied lemon peel, lingering hop leafy bitterness finish.
