Poured from Bottle into Tulip glass. Pours a brilliant golden orange that radiates in the glass. The head is light and fizzy and quickly dissolves into a thin layer around the glass. The aroma has banana and clove upfront and is accompanied by spice, grain and just a touch of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malt upfront with a touch of grassy hops followed by touches of yeast and alcohol with a sweet semi-dry finish. Its a light to medium bodied beer that has a good amount of carbonation. I really enjoyed the aroma and appearance but felt it lacked a bit in flavor. Good beer though.

Gold orange clear body, stream of tiny bubbles, thin head. Sweet, slightly spicy aroma; alcohol as well. Flavor - sweet; sour grainy mash; alcohol; Belgian yeast. Fine, but not really much better than other examples.

This was on tap at Taco Mac back in March I believe. Clear golden pour with fluffy white head. Sweet fruit and biscuit aroma with some subtle spice notes. Tastes are much the same with a full body and the spices become more prevalent. Very nice triple overall.

Bottle, Utobeer, London.Poured a clear golden colour with a nice white head. Fruity aroma with banana and citrus predominating, and a hint of spice. Similar themes in the flavour which was slightly sweet and had definite Belgain characteristics with a decent yeast/hop balance. Finished dry and peppery. A very competent take on the style, and better than many actual Belgian Tripels I’ve tasted.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a frothy, well-lacing white head. Sweet biscuity pale malty nose has some fruity esters, clove spice and citrusy hops. Body starts with good fullness and rich sweet biscuity malts along with some drier bittering hops and peppery coriander and clove spice before a warming finish with a hint of tartness. A pretty true to style and well-hopped Abbey Tripel.

brilliant golden with just a mild head, which could be improved. more herbal hop to the nose than yeasty esters. carbonation somewhat low for the style. flavor has some hop bitterness and then restrained esters before a very pleasantly subtle, but evident herbal hop flavor. some yeasty esters and alcoholic warmth help finish this beer. the alcohol is very well subdued and useful and the hop character is very nicely incorporated into the brew, which is rare for an american influenced tripel. the negatives would be the head retention and somewhat of a mild yeast flavor. overall, a very well done american-belgian tripel

Pours a slightly bright golden color with a small white head. Aroma is fruity with a big pale malt component. Lots of belgian spiciness and zesty citrus fruit. Flavor starts with a sort of basic malt character and rides that wave. The alcohol is apparent from the beginning. A lot of spice over a big yeast flavor in the middle. Slightly bitter finish makes for a very easy, and disappointing aftertaste, not a whole lot going on there. Still not a bad beer at all, just overall a bit disappointing

12oz bottle: apperance is golden brown with off white head, aroma is almost non existent but has hints of malt, flavor is somewhat belgian like but not really, very clean pale malt with with a hint of spices. good beer but very belgian IMO.
