Draft at Stone Bistro. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt and spices - especially coriander. The flavor is sweet and very malty with notes of hops, grass, and alcohol, that burns lightly in the throat, as well as light notes of grapefruit, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, deep golden with a basically absent head. Aroma of fruit, yeast and alcohol. Medium body, some lightly sweet malt and fruit with a lightly bitter finish. Maybe my expectations were too high from this collaboration, the result is just another ordinary Tripel. 130908

RB# 6000: From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours clear and golden orange with no head. Aroma is classic triple spiced with a mild caramel malt presence and overall a smooth aroma. Flavour too is classic triple spiced with a mild caramel malt flavour. Spot and smooth, however I was surprised to see this filtered as leaving in unfiltered would have given a more complex aroma and clean and not so "clean" as this is.

Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Clear golden, small head. Fruity buckwheat aroma. Floral and soapy. Sweetish with that typical vital elastic mouthfeel that is domestic to Stone Brewing. There’s notes of coriander and vanilla. It’s dangerously drianklable for a beer this size and fairly well balanced. Perhaps lacking depth and complexity.
