On tap at the BA Decadence release. Pours with a hazy brown body and a light brown head. Aroma is awesome with hops (great profile, but hard to pick out individual hops on this one), caramel and brown sugar. Taste is malty with brown sugar, caramel, toffee and a floral hoppy finish. Lively carbonation with a dry finish.

Excellent amber ale. Very bitter, fresh hoppy aroma with some caramel malt. Taste of pine, citrus, sweet fruit, caramel, nuts, and bitter hops. Reddish amber pour with a sticky medium-large reddish light tan head. Nice lacing. Medium mouthfeel and fairly easy do drink for it’s complexity. Well done!

From sampler at the brewery. A chestnut brown color with a small off-white head. The aroma is rich with very good caramel in the forefront, some nuts and hops also present. The taste is overtly nutty with almonds, walnuts and hazelnuts surrounded by mildly biter hops. The mouthfeel is medium in body. The finish is long with lingering dark fruits. Overall: A very well crafted amber ale.

Growler. Pours a deep dark reddish-brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma is sharp, with hops, pine, grass, herbs, and a hint of sweeter malt and fruits. Taste is a nice balance of bitter pine hops and sweet malt and dark fruits. Light lingering crisp bitterness. Very nice.

Served on tap at Pure Luck in Los Angeles. Pours dark red/brown with a thin head that leaves excellent lacing behind. Rich aroma of hops and pine. Smooth, malty body with notes of caramel and citrus. great, lasting hop finish. a very, very fine beer.

Huge thanks to wetherel for sending me a growler of this. Have wanted to try it for an entire year. Very nice beer. Pours a deep brown with red hues and just a pencil thin head. Looks like reddish iced tea. Aroma is mostly tea and malt, with just a touch of hops. However, the hops come through huge in the flavor. Wet dank hops with bitter hops on the back end. Nice carmel malts and a touch of candied sugar dance in and out with the hops. Just super, super hoppy. Very nice.

On tap @ Toronado: Rating is based off very short and brief notes. Nose is of west coast influenced hop. Dark red color with thin coating of head. Caramelized malt flavor with a ever presence of bitter hops. Somewhat empty than what I had expected more.
