Commercial Description:
Bottle conditioned.
Speedway Stout is a HUGE Imperial Stout, with pounds and pounds of coffee added during conditioning for a little extra kick! This is a limited-edition Formula and it'll definitely get you racing! It is available in 750 ml. champagne bottles. Appearance: Jet Black, with a toast-brown head. Flavor: Starts with a strong coffee and dark chocolate sensation, then fades to a multitude of toasty, roasty and caramelly flavors. Finishes with a nice fullness but dry enough not to be cloying. Aroma: COFFEE! And some other stuff. And coffee. Mouthfeel (body/texture): Velvety smooth texture. Clean and crisp, full-bodied. Warmth from the high alcohol content lightens up the feel a bit. Still, you won't fool your taste buds -- this beer is HUGE!

22oz bottle. Shared at Coffee District. Pours a inky black with a small tan head. Rich and luxurious head. Nose is incredible. Espresso and dark chocolate, a slight note of soy and roast. Flavor is tons of coffee and bitter chocolate up front. A bit of vanilla in the finish and a roasty hoppiness with a sweet sticky smooth finish. Well balanced, this tastes big but it doesn’t have any alcohol burn its just huge on the palate. A hell of a well crafted impy stout. Very very impressive.

Black as night, pours like ink. Huge coffee, chocolate and roasted malt flavor. Sticky and heavy on the palate. Complex and extremely drinkable. Great stout.

Jet balck little head. Toasted coffee chocolate aroma layered with vanilla, deep roasted malts with a piney bittering quality. There is some caramel figgy scents dancing with a fruit alcohol infused smell and a peaty earthy smokiness. Decent aroma but the flavor made me step back and say "damn b thats some full flavored brew." A complex and encompassing full palate pleasing with reaching flavor rolls over the tounge and gives hearty complex flavors of a fruity mocha coffee infused with a caramel vanilla peaty earthy smoky piney woodsy bittering brew. Smoked meats, brothy. Tastey. Alcohol present in the warmth and the exhale. Dman tastey beer

Ya know it’s gotten where all these imp stouts taste pretty darn close. Roasty - check. Creamy - check. Coffee - check. Is this better than Expedition or Yeti? I dunno. It’s very very good and very drinkable, especially for 12%. Alcohol is only slightly noticeable but not in a hot Avery beers way.

Black with a rich, bubbly tan head. Nose is strong, rich, high-quality coffee... actually, more like a high-quality coffee shop. Also has some minor milk chocolate and alcohol in there. Flavor has more coffee and chocolate, a little alcohol. Never too bitter, this has a rich body that’s ultra-smooth and ideal for such a coffee beast. Speedway is a little simple and straightforward, but out of a starting value of 4.3, it earns a 4.3: it’s about as good of a simple, coffee-driven IS as I can imagine.

Has the color of used motor oil with a large, light brown head with excellent lacing. has a strong aroma of chocolate with notes of coffee and molasses. The flavor is of espresso and chocolate with a sweet start and a bitter finish. The palate is very creamy. Hands down the best stout I’ve ever had and a frontrunner for the best beer I’ve ever had. This stuff is happiness in a bottle. Es la leche de la vida!
