C-Bus 7 Bottle shared by moejuck: Pours gold with an off white head. Aroma, wheat, yeasty, some spices. Flavor, bready, wheats, some yeasty notes, spice, some sweetness there is also a hint of tartness. Solid brew.

750ml bottle via trade 2002 or 2003 bottle unsure. with WestsideThreat, many thanks Skye. This was insane. Shared with Bartzilla, Lee Chase, my friend Kensy, my friends Marie and Patrick. Housewarming party opened. Pours orange with a thin white head. Aroma is amazing, like apple cider, can’t quite place it. The taste is supremely smooth , apple juicey, as Lee said very bock, less weiz. Fantastic beer. This is stellar and needs to be brewed again, like right now.

Dark gold, thin white head. Nose was loaded with tones of spiced apple, clove, vanilla, and citrus. Rich flavor notes of graham cracker, banana bread, apple, honey, and clove. Full bodied, soft carbonation, fruity, bittersweet finish. They stopped making this why?? Fantastic without a doubt. Thanks for sharing Eyedrinkale...

Bottle thanks EDA. Hazy amber in color with a little off white head. Sweet and malty aroma. Yeasty notes. Malty and caramel sweet flavor. Coffee like roasty notes. Smooth mouthfeel. Sweet finish. Full bodied. Very nice beer. Very drinkable.

A donation from Eyedrinkale to the Dr. Bill tasting. Mike didn’t even show up. If a beer is held on to possibly longer than it should be I can’t take points off for that. Like the beer being corked and having it break apart upon extraction. So looking past that. The beer poured a hazy amber color with minimal head. The aroma was sweet and malty with a fair amount of yeasty notes. There were also a definite aroma of rotting cork, but we will leave that out. Sweet and malty flavor with a lot of caramel to it. The mouthfeel felt smooth but with a big carbonation.

Vintage:? nothing on the bottle. I,ve been sitting on this one for awhile now, cellared properly also. Uncorking the botttle was an expierence in itself with the cork coming out in pieces. Maybe why this brew didnt hold up?? Anyways,,,, Poured a small tan head that roused up nicely, little lacing. Hazy amber/red colored brew. Nose is yeasty, bready, minty. Medium bodied and lightly oily. Medium sweet malt flavor, minty, a touch roasty with light honey flavors. Finish is medium sweet and honeyish. A serious let down. No real Weizen Bock flavors to speak of. Unfortunate. Darn it!! Thanks to herbjones for the trade, many moons ago!

Wow, a train wreck of a "weizenbock" and a "barleywine" (what it was imo) that really wasn’t up my alley. Go ahead, send me the hate beermails for this one, I don’t care, but it was a disappointing AS product for me. The appearance was amber, some reddish hues, nice head with some sedimentation floaties at the bottom. So far so good until the strong honey and caramel aromas hit my nose, leaving me in great want of anything banana or spicey. The flavor was initially all honey (really strong), caramel (sickly sweet) and cookie dough, the latter which gave way to other sweet notes of vanilla, dates, and teabags as it warmed past 55F. Mouthfeel was sticky and cloying. Sorry to have killed (for the first time) and AS product, but if I was tasting this blind, it may have scored even lower? Bert, thanks a bunch for this opportunity, always fun trying something new and exciting, even if overhyped.

Pours a med cloudy amber with a small tightly knit white head. Aroma is clovey, phenolic, with notes of vanilla and caramel. The body is med with a light CO2 which was surprising. The flavor was a nice mixture of dried fruits and cloves with some vanilla but no banana to speak of. Alcohol is well hidden. The finish was sweet and fairly long lasting. Slightly tart at the end. Very nice but not entirely too style.
