can8ianben (608), Pasadena, California, USA Aug 22, 2008 Just realized that I have yet to rate this beer. I brought a bottle across the country for dmtroyer and haven’t yet rated it! Anyway, light in color and mouth feel. You could drink a lot of this. Nicely hopped, some weird spice going on - mint is a good description. Subtly sweet, and just the right bitterness. eli723 (9), San Diego, California, USA does not count Aug 21, 2008 Had this at my wedding. A great beer to just drink all night long. Clean, crisp, refreshing, but flavorful enough to keep you interested. Brewsmith (54), Torrance, California, USA Aug 20, 2008 From a 22oz. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is hoppy, citrus and pineapple with a hint of grain. Color is a clear gold with a white rocky head. First is the hop bitterness and some piney flavor followed by the malt, starting bready and biscuits and followed by some toast. Light, clean, dry finish makes me want another sip. Not heavy. A great American Pale Ale. Dogbrick (2229), Columbus, Ohio, USA Aug 19, 2008 Bottle from Bevmo in Solana Beach. Pours a pale golden color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing. Floral hops aroma with notes of citrus and pears. Medium-bodied and moderately hoppy with floral and spiced notes. Some light malt and fruit in the background as well. The finish is mostly hoppy with some biscuity malt behind it, and a lingering bitter aftertaste. Above average overall, however not up to par with what I imagine Stone can accomplish in an APA.
