Very light in color, very effervescent, with a nice white head. Lemons and pine flavor with a nice, malty sweetness. Very crisp and light bodied. Lingering pine. Absolutely delish! | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2008 Bottled. A hazy golden with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grass, grapefruit, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with hoppy notes of grass and grapefruit, as well as light notes of elderberry flowers, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin. dmtroyer (415), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a fairly pale golden color with a lively white head. The nose and flavor profile had me very excited at how unique they were. I got undeniable mint and lemon zest throughout the bottle in the nose and the mouth. I’ve never had such a minty brew! Perfectly hopped, many in this category really overdo the hops but these were a nice addition on the finish. My only complaint is that it was a tad on the thin side but I think that may have matched up very well with the flavor profile. Very well balanced, possibly the best I have had in the category. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2008 Bottle: Very pale yellow pour and a very thick head. Aroma is citrus and some pine. Flavor follows through with the citrus hop and piney hops. As with most Alesmith brews, this one is also very clean. Finishes a little quicker than I would have liked. yespr (12404), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 10, 2008 22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Peachy and grapefruity hoppy aroma, extremely fruity and inviting. Mild and crisp flavour with a lot of fruity hops flavours and oils. Nice crisp and without much caramel malt body, but it works okay. kegbear (272), Orange, California, USA

Tastes of citrus, lemon zest and pine balanced with a nice malt sweetness. Finishes dry with a slight bitterness. A top notch pale ale. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 21, 2008 Bottle thanks to kegbear. Aroma is some hops with a little citris. The taste is just incredibly lemony and wonderful. Almost like the best lemony kitchen cleaner you’ve ever smelled being made into a beer taste. There is almost some peach in the first taste and then the citrus just takes over and goes from there. Leaves a fresh, dry taste in your mouth. Incredible! Would buy again
