Aroma and flavor were dominated by sweet flowery hops. I didn’t pick up any of the complex characteristics that are in the commercial description or other’s reveiws. I liked it better towards the bottom of the bottle, when I got into a bit of the yeast. Palate was dry, and not particularly refreshing. Sparky27 (1596), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Pours a clear gold with crazy carbonation, probably the most carbonated beer I’ve seen. Has a huge 4 finger white head even with a careful pour. Nose is crisp hops and sweet grass. Palate is sweet malt upfront with light citrus and a bitter hop finish. Interesting brew – took me a while to taste it due to the huge head. Medium mouth feel and obviously great lacing. Not a bad brew and one of the better pale ales I have had to date. chrisafari (100), Orange, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2008 Pours a medium dark Golden color with a nice thin white head. Aroma of citrus and lightly hoppy. Flavors are sweet and slightly hoppy. Leaves a dry hoppy after-taste. A good beer, but I was expecting more mmff. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 28, 2008 Pours with a puffy, white head covereing a chill-hazed golden body. Good lacing. Aroma is of tangy pine, lots of toffee and grapefruit. Taste is a tad sour, with nice citrus hops and a noticable lack of malt character. The mouthfeel was a bit odd...dry at first and then turned a bit oily. Lively carbonation. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Crisp, sugary, caramel nose. Fruity, lemony, spicy hopped flavor. Quite delicious! AgentSteve (1375), SF Bay Area, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 4, 2008 Pours a hazy golden color with a nice frothy white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, pine and malt. Aroma is pretty big considering that this is a smaller beer. Flavor of hops, malt and a touch of sweetness. Very drinkable pale ale and a good sessionable or lawn mowing beer as well. cgort (52), mission viejo, California, USA
