Poured clear amber hue with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Heavy aroma of citrus hops and tart fruit. Medium to full body. Well balanced flavor of malt, hops and fruit with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a solid drinkable brew. rudolf (1782), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 9, 2007 From a 22 oz. bomber bottle with blurb on the back of bottle, no freshness date, sampled at a cool temperature in a pint glass.
Poured with a slight chill haze, an orangey golden with fluffy, foamy white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing, small amount of laced sticking.
Aromas of orange rind, earthy hops, sweet grain bready malts and fruity yeast.
Good even carbonation and a crisp, dry, hop slick, velvety smooth light-medium bodied mouthfeel.
Great APA taste, citric, a soft pine, dry earthy leafy hops that have a mild, but lingering bitterness in the palate, a subtle fruitiness from the yeast, pale grainy maltiness, and a citric rind, dry hop, malty finish.
One of best APA I’ve tried, quite quaffable, I need to get more of this.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 4, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice, clear, golden color with an average head. Fresh, pine-like aroma. The flavor is very light to begin with but comes on much stronger in the after taste. Probably my favorite pale ale that i’ve tried so far.
