JoeMcPhee (3671), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Mar 24, 2007 Very pale blonde/golden colour. Thick white head. Very fresh pale malt aroma. Fruity hops, grapefruit, a bit of mango and citrus. Very lean malts, with lighter hop flavour than I would have expected. Well-balanced and tasty, but I like a bit more assertiveness, especially from these guys.
eli723 (8), USA does not count Aug 21, 2008 Had this at my wedding. A great beer to just drink all night long. Clean, crisp, refreshing, but flavorful enough to keep you interested. Brewsmith (50), Torrance, California, USA Aug 20, 2008 From a 22oz. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is hoppy, citrus and pineapple with a hint of grain. Color is a clear gold with a white rocky head. First is the hop bitterness and some piney flavor followed by the malt, starting bready and biscuits and followed by some toast. Light, clean, dry finish makes me want another sip. Not heavy. A great American Pale Ale. Dogbrick (2209), Columbus, Ohio, USA Aug 19, 2008 Bottle from Bevmo in Solana Beach. Pours a pale golden color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing. Floral hops aroma with notes of citrus and pears. Medium-bodied and moderately hoppy with floral and spiced notes. Some light malt and fruit in the background as well. The finish is mostly hoppy with some biscuity malt behind it, and a lingering bitter aftertaste. Above average overall, however not up to par with what I imagine Stone can accomplish in an APA. ghawener (667), San Salvador, El Salvador Aug 17, 2008 At RateBeerians Tasting. Bottle: A good APA, light bodied but flavorfull. Color is pale. Ramenen (333), San Salvador, El Salvador Aug 17, 2008 Thanks to ghawener. Drank it in last nite El Salvador Beer Session. Nice well rounded IPA. Pours a clear, light golden color with a big white head. Light bodied, taste of pine and citrus. Short finish.
