Commercial Description:
YuleSmith is a quenching, hoppy "double" IPA. Appearance: Clear copper color and a creamy beige head with good retention. Flavor: Starts out with a bite of hops, but a perfect balance of maltiness and a dry finish leave you thirsting for that next sip. Aroma: The aroma starts with a heady citrusy and floral feel, and a slight overtone of vanilla. Mouthfeel (body/texture): Smooth, medium-bodied. Warm mouthfeel from the high alcohol content. Feels lush and full in the mouth.

Bottled as "YuleSmith Holiday Ale" (Vasa session). Hazy orange color, huge off-white head. Strong nose of mango, rye, berries and bread. Bitter, fruity, toffee, malty flavor. There is some cracker maltyness and citrusy notes. Drinkability is nice. Could be more complex and bottle could be more fresh, but overall quite good DIPA.

Bottled (thanks whoever sent this to me!). Orange colour, big white head. Aroma is very fruity and flowery hops along with some nuttyness as well as caramel and malts. Flavour is very hoppy, grassy and some fudge and some mild alcohol. Also nuttyness. Big grassy/fruity aftertaste with slight earthy and nutty notes.

At the tasting session by Joes. A little hazy, red/brown colored beer, with a small beige head. The aroma of hop bittes, fruits like berries and malts. The taste of hop bitter with caramel, dark fruits, some chocolate, a little alcohol. A complex beer. The aftertaste is bitter with a little sweet.

I want to hang a map of the world in my house then I’m gonna put pins into all the locations that I’ve travelled to. But first I’m gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map so it won’t fall down.

Bottle. Pours a hazy reddish color, with creamy white head and lacing. Nose is big on hops, lots of citrus and tropical fruits. Very forward. Flavors are more of the same, with citrus, big hoppy mango, tropical elements, and some vanilla. Very smooth, and very drinkable.

Bottled @ jbrus. Hazy orange color, short head. Aroma is very hoppy, grapefruit. Soft and balanced taste. Smooth, but still with a decent bitterness that never becomes too astringent.

Bottled @ Jbrus’. The aroma has oranges and honey, malts and some grass. Slightly hazy, copper coloured with an off-white head. The taste is bitterand has some citrussy and piney hops as well as some malts. Quite fruity. Well balanced beer. Good, very good.

A: Same as the winter edition nice copper orange color with a big frothy bubbly head made up of lots of tiny bubbles. S: Lots of sweet malt coming right at you in the nose. The hops are there though and they let you know it. Tons of floral aromas with hints of pine sap. Very nice. T: Tastes as good as the winter variety but the hops are a bit in your face. The malt balance is wonderful and the sweet malt teams perfectly with the bitterness of the piney hops. I really like this one. M: Nice and thick coats the mouth and the stomach what more could you want. D: Very drinkable for a DIPA
