Oct 16, 2008 ok let me say that I have been off of IPA for a little while. That was until I tasted this beer. Man I fell in love all over again. The guys at Alesmith seem to know how to do things right. This beer is one of my all time favorites. great hazy color with huge rocky head and taste of grapefruit and grass. This beer is awsome

Oct 13, 2008 Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pours a golden orange. Orange and floral on the nose. Loads of hops attack the tongue. Lots of sweetness from the malts come in next. Mouthfeel is pretty alcoholic but not too sticky like most DIPAS. Delicious treat!

Oct 12, 2008 I finaly was able to get my hands on this greatly esteamed brew, worthy of the ratings it has received. A new guy showed up at our homebrew meeting with one of these bad boys and I just about fell out of my bench! Halaluah! Him and I are gonna be good friends. This beer has a holy hop character. A real pungent citrus aroma and flavor. Outstanding.

Oct 3, 2008 Hazy amber with huge beige head. Sweet aroma with loads of hops and notes of pine, grapefruit and caramel. Powerfull hops in the flavour with notes of grapefruit, caramel and pine needles. Solid bitter finish.

Oct 2, 2008 Bottle. Love this beer. Poured a hazy orange/gold with a two finger white head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and floral hops. Flavor is well balanced and not too sweet. Citrus hops finish the taste. Great beer!

Oct 1, 2008 Updated: Aug 5, 2009Bottle graciously sent to me by alexsdad06. Thank you so much. This one is a damn fine beer. Wow. Pours a hazy orangish color wtih a very nice whte head. Aroma is a delicious mix of caramel, malts, fruit and spicy and floral hops. Flavor is just a perfect union of big hops and smooth malt. I get citrus, caramel, vanilla, and man I just loved this beer.

Sep 26, 2008 thanks to weeheavysd for the chance. This beer kept eluding me. Pours cloudy orange with a nice white head. Aroma is tropical, citrus, pine and mango. Taste is citrus as well, but not as juicy as the aroma promised. Huge pine with a dry resinous finish. Really nice.
