Sep 26, 2008 Lots of citrusy hop aroma with some pine and maybe even a hint of peach. It is a clear light golden color with a decent malt body. It finished a little bitter. Overall it’s good but not as great as I’d hoped. The winter Yulesmith is clearly better, at least from the two most-recent releases.

Sep 24, 2008 Wow...this is one of the best Imperial IPAs I have had in a long time. Pours a hazy gold with a thick off white head. Crazy hops aroma, pine, citrus, and about everything else. Great hop flavor, with a some serious hop bitterness. Really glad I got a second bottle :)

Sep 22, 2008 22oz bottle: pours golden brown with long lasting off white hear, aroma filled with citrus hops and a decent amount of malt. flavor highly hopped lots of citrus hops and fairly big malt backbone, not a very complex IIPA but its good at what it does.

Sep 21, 2008 Bright pine and orange peel hop aroma, though it’s a bit restrained. I should have had this right away. Soft golden hue and a creamy dense head that proudly rises above the glass. Tasty and fiercely bitter, but plenty astringent too. Raw alcohol in the finish. This was out of refrigeration in the store and I had it a few months after the release so while I know it to be good, I imagine it’s much better when fresh. I guess it’s one of those situations where ’very good’ is a letdown.

Sep 20, 2008 Pours a hazy amber from the bomber with a thick off-white head. Balanced is the word. Equal parts hops, yeast, and alcohol. As far as IPA’s go -- this is probably the best I’ve had thus far.

Sep 16, 2008 22 oz. bomber. Pours an orange-amber with a nice frothy white, good lacing. Aroma is very nice, clean hops. I get flowers, grass, pine, and orange/grapefruit. Flavor is a touch of malty sweetness with loads of citrus, pine, and a nice bitter finish. Very clean, dry finish. Great DIPA.

Sep 15, 2008 Weak farty aroma. Hazy amber colour. Malty flavour, rough bitterness. Sweet maltiness, but very short. Dry finish.

Sep 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a beautiful fluffy white head that lingers. Huge sweet and bitter citrus hops aroma. Taste is bitter, clean, and refreshing, of hops, citrus, a hint of sweet banana and cloves. Lingering crisp bitterness. Really tasty.
