Commercial Description:
YuleSmith is a quenching, hoppy "double" IPA. Appearance: Clear copper color and a creamy beige head with good retention. Flavor: Starts out with a bite of hops, but a perfect balance of maltiness and a dry finish leave you thirsting for that next sip. Aroma: The aroma starts with a heady citrusy and floral feel, and a slight overtone of vanilla. Mouthfeel (body/texture): Smooth, medium-bodied. Warm mouthfeel from the high alcohol content. Feels lush and full in the mouth.

Bomber poured into a tulip. Color is golden custard with fluffy white head, that mostly lasts and leaves very nice lacing. Aroma of very citrusy hops: grapefruit, pineapple, and pears. Aroma also of moderately sweet malt and dough. Taste initially moderately sweet and bitter, finishes long. Medium mouthfeel with lively fizzy carbonation, finishes dry. Great balance of sweet malt, fruit, and hoppy bitterness. Glorious DIPA!

Oh my good God! I know an excellent DIPA when I taste one, and this it IT! 22oz bomber thanks to an awesome trader. Nose is light and deceiving. There is an unsurpassed smoothness between this most DIPAs. It’s light… and yet has a very hoppy bite. Alcohol is well hidden. A nearly 360 degree sheet of lacing exists that shows every sip . Drinking this beer makes me happy and makes me want more. I high recommend.

22 oz. bottle from Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield, OH. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, pineapple, and tangerines. Pours a hazy golden orange with a creamy white head. Delicious bitter hop flavor of pineapple, fresh cut grass, grapefruit, and flowers. Moderate alcohol burn in the back of the throat. This is exceptional. One of my new favorite all-time beers.

Poured from bomber. Amber gold with medium off white head with nice lingering lacing. Nose was hops, malt and citrus with a hint of vanilla. Tasted as good as the aroma, with a dry finish.

crisp and delightfully refreshing.light yellow pour with a dense creamy white head that becomes porous like a lava rock upon recession. very light floral bouquet with notes of bitter honey. the taste is unbelievably light and the palate is perfect, i could easily drink 3 of these.

22oz bottle. Big Citrus nose, straight up west coast IPA style. This is supposed to be a double IPA I guess but it doesn’t have much of a malt backbone. Super bitter and resiny, with some strong piney hops. Slightly cloudy orange color. Very solid beer but I think its a tad overated.
