Beautiful pour, deep copper color and a long lasting creamy head.
Very smooth yet powerful aromas of hops and malt. Citrus, pine, fruit is all here but subdued and well blended.
Smooth mouthfeel and just the right amount of body backed by a well balanced flavor combnation make this a top IIPA. A little less potent than a Ruination and not quite as assertive, but so well done this will surely be a favorite of a lot of folks. I won’t argue the small stuff. A greatI IIPA. Floral hops effervescence that greatly translates through to flavor and finish. Great blend of malts and potent hops. Somewhat piny and resinous. Stinging bitterness, but not overly so. Really nice brew! Snojerk321 (2019), San Diego, California, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2007 the beers sits there, exemplary of everything it attempts to be..the head has interwoven layers of puffy, pillowy white...underneath is unfiltered orange..the aroma is indeed quintessential...dry, musty apricot, pineapple and citrus vapors..Bitter, yet refined flavors hinting towards citrus rind, apricot drained of its sweetness, and a solventy, dry finish...piney almost near the end...but i like the dry solvent notes...they are classy! cbkschubert (2015), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

Nice stringy lacing. Aroma is mostly malt. Bready and toasty with some citrus and pine in the background. Flavor is well balanced. Has a very smooth bitterness. Most 2IPA have a harsh hop bite. This beer is so smooth. Medium body. No alcohol warming. An excellent beer! I’m going to have to start hordin’ this stuff. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 7, 2006 Pours a deep amber color, minimal head. Big hop profile on the aroma, some citrus. The hops hit you right away as you drink this one, and linger for a while. Some sweet notes come through as well. Great flowering bitter finish.
