Golden color with active carbonation. Strong hops dominate, good sweet maltiness also. Piney, citrusy, awesome. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA

The nose is just bursting with bright, beautiful hops. Sticky pine resin, cedar, lemon zest, sweet sticky malt. Very nice. Pours the color of orange marmalade. Big, creamy, cumulus like white head with excellent retention. Flavor is hop heaven! Perfect balance of oily pine and tangy citrus zest. Tongue coating hoppy goodness leading to a zesty finish that lasts forever. Notes of grass, slightly floral and spicy hops. Creamy with mouth filling carbonation. This is what IIPA’s are all about... balanced excessiveness. STUNNING! brewblackhole (1385), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

I’ve tasted so many Imperial IPA’s and Im thinking I’ll never smell a new aroma. Well here it is. Its like the champagne of Imperial IPAS. A wonderful malt and hop efferescent fragrance that just seemed unique, the taste was definitely over the top,yet very under control. Almost the perfect combination in all respects, one I will look to trade for each year DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA

Pours a hazy golden color.Nose is hoppy, citrus and floral. Flavor is a full onslaught of hops as it finished hoppy and my palate felt abused from the bitter hop assault. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Firmly textured apricot orange pour. Lets through only hints of light. Sweet, malty nose of crème brulee, vanilla, and a thick orange glaze. Dense. Vibrant flavors of mango and peach are underscored by a thick, dirty oak barrel permeation. Mossy, wet, and alcoholic. A hint of lavender and general spritzy burn. Generic caramel sugars coat the mouth. Nothing sensational here. Palate is uncompromising and fitting to style. Natural, forceful, and somewhat at ease, which is easy to appreciate. Substantial. Thanks Brian! JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Very perfumey aroma. Hop forward indeed. Dry dusty malt. Peaches and various tropical fruit make up a nice complexity.
Interesting crisp hop + malt flavor. Following the aroma, the flavor is a rich sweetened fruity hop mixture. Very delicious.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Bottle from AllAboutStout. Pours hazy orange/yellow. Beautiful creamy, finger thick head. Nose is a wonderful blend of resin hops, pineapple and malt. Flavor is just as good as the aroma, with a sweetness of pineapple and malt, with a clean, dry, hoppy bitterness in the finish. Great brew. pantanap (1369), Chicago, Illinois, USA
