Commercial Description:
YuleSmith is a quenching, hoppy "double" IPA. Appearance: Clear copper color and a creamy beige head with good retention. Flavor: Starts out with a bite of hops, but a perfect balance of maltiness and a dry finish leave you thirsting for that next sip. Aroma: The aroma starts with a heady citrusy and floral feel, and a slight overtone of vanilla. Mouthfeel (body/texture): Smooth, medium-bodied. Warm mouthfeel from the high alcohol content. Feels lush and full in the mouth.

Pours a light orange. Nose is big fresh grapefruit (reminded me of cutting open a fresh grapefruit and pouring sugar on it), lemon, oranges, floral hops, sweet caramel, light toffee and peaches. Flavor is much the same as the nose. Loads of grapefruit and sweet malt to balance it out. More flavorful than bitter. Amazing offering from Alesmith. I need to get some more of this one.

Pours a deep amber, with an impressive off-white head. The nose is a massive hop tartness, with a sharp floral snap. As the head dies down, it laces down the glass, before any sip. Lighter in body that I expected, the hops are quite strong. The finish is dry, leaving only the hops.

Golden amber color with an absurdly sticky head that leaves unparalleled lacing on the glass. Aroma is floral and citrusy hops with a very sweet maltiness. Flavor follows the aroma, with a nice dose of fruity hops and a sumptuous caramel malt profile that melts into a solid hop bitterness. Rich and luxurious on the palate.

Bottle. Pours clear copper color with a decent sized off white head. Aroma is heavy citrus, mango, oange, floral hops, mild caramel. Flavor is piney, citrus, grapefruit, orange, mango, floral hops, caramel malts, alcohol. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes with gigantic hoppy bitterness, almost burning the tongue. Awesome stuff.

Thanks to Bockyhorsey. Poured copper with a nice thick head. Very citrusy with lots of hops in the aroma. Very pronounced hops and strong grapefruit up front, but the malts really balanced it well. Had a long lasting hop pine aftertaste, but very smooth with a touch of sweetness. Annoyingly drinkable since I can’t get this one around here. Thanks Bocky!

Another awesome west coast brew sent from sparky! Bomber: Monster head on this one, which never went away! I poured it agressive, and it almost over filled my snifter! Aroma of citrus hops. Beautiful glowing orangish color. Flavor, was classic DIPA. Lots of fruity and citrus hops, and a hint of mango. Dry....Excellent texture, easy to drink. Super smooth. Over all a great beer, THANKS eric for the great beer! F*cking A, why isnt Alesmith available in my area????
