Nose is big fresh grapefruit (reminded me of cutting open a fresh grapefruit and pouring sugar on it), lemon, oranges, floral hops, sweet caramel, light toffee and peaches. Flavor is much the same as the nose. Loads of grapefruit and sweet malt to balance it out. More flavorful than bitter. Amazing offering from Alesmith. I need to get some more of this one. dkoonce (899), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 31, 2006 Pours a deep amber, with an impressive off-white head. The nose is a massive hop tartness, with a sharp floral snap. As the head dies down, it laces down the glass, before any sip. Lighter in body that I expected, the hops are quite strong. The finish is dry, leaving only the hops. illidurit (896), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 4.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Golden amber color with an absurdly sticky head that leaves unparalleled lacing on the glass. Aroma is floral and citrusy hops with a very sweet maltiness. Flavor follows the aroma, with a nice dose of fruity hops and a sumptuous caramel malt profile that melts into a solid hop bitterness. Rich and luxurious on the palate. elektronikfagtekniker (892), kbh, Denmark

Very citrusy with lots of hops in the aroma. Very pronounced hops and strong grapefruit up front, but the malts really balanced it well. Had a long lasting hop pine aftertaste, but very smooth with a touch of sweetness. Annoyingly drinkable since I can’t get this one around here. Thanks Bocky!
