I don’t really need to tell you what it tastes like, look, it’s double IPA as I think it should be. You know what this style is all about and this is it. pineypower (1104), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA

The arooma was floral hoppy. The taste is very well balanced for such a huge IPA, predominantly there is of course the taste of hops, but it is very well balanced by a malty flavor. The hops have a citrus/pine taste. An awesome beer from a brewery I wish I lived closer to. Kevin (1918), Colorado, USA

Nicewhite head, a bit rocky that diminished as I drank the glass, but never fully vanished. Huge c-hops abundance. Lots of orange, flowers, grapefruit, pinneaple, and a hint of walnuts in the nose, wow, what a combo. Of course very hoppy palate, with the alcohol definitely detectable and an assertive bitterness. A nice malt profile backs it all. Well hidden 8.5%. Medium-thick body, creamy, smooth body. Terrific double red/IIPA. The question remains...Can I fight off killing the remaining bottles too fast? Probably not. obisbeer (558), Barcelona, Spain

Smells like chewy bread dough and pine needle hos. Lots of biscuity yeast, very nice. The scent jumps out at you like an icepick to the forehead.
Tastes very much like it smells, very firm, and with much more pine up front. Big blast of hops like tree sap, getting a bit floral, and then lauching into sweet and sour yeast dough, getting chewy, and then a finish of rich, bitter hops.
An excellent beer. ChristianSA (368), Copenhagen, Denmark

Aroma is typical Alesmith with lots of fruitiness, Sharp citric notes and a hint of melon and fresh strawberries. You can actually *taste* the fumes coming from the glass. Amazing! Caramelly and dry flavor with pleasant supporting bitterness and a long bitter finish with some warming alcohol. Very, very enjoyable beer. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

Pours hazy orange with nice creamy medium head and great lacing. Flavor is where this brew really shines. The floral hops are the first to bite, then a sweet maltiness coats the tounge before the citrus hops clean up. Palate is tart, creamy and smooth at the same time. I think the winter is my favorite, but this is a very close second. I love these beers!!
