Commercial Description:
YuleSmith is a quenching, hoppy "double" IPA. Appearance: Clear copper color and a creamy beige head with good retention. Flavor: Starts out with a bite of hops, but a perfect balance of maltiness and a dry finish leave you thirsting for that next sip. Aroma: The aroma starts with a heady citrusy and floral feel, and a slight overtone of vanilla. Mouthfeel (body/texture): Smooth, medium-bodied. Warm mouthfeel from the high alcohol content. Feels lush and full in the mouth.

Bottle via Weeheavy. Golden color. Smell of grapefruit, malt, hops, pine, zest, grass, sugar, caramel and orange juice. Taste of malt, hops, grapefuit, caramel, brown sugar, salt, flowers, grass, pine, citrus zest, spice and alcohol. Wow! The hops are great in this one. Wonderful!

Poured out fairly hazy dark orange / brown brew with lots of miniscule stuff trapped. Got a big, thick light tan creamy cap with incredible retention and guinness like lacing. The aroma is awesome and comes across thick with caramel malt to along with weak pine, tons of citrus (orange, grapefruit), tart raspberry hard candy, and a touch of wood me thinks. The taste is awesome as well: sweet all the way through with lemon and pine hops, mint, caramel and chocolate. Very smooth mouth feel, full bodied and clean, good malty finish with a bitterness that does not overwhelm the taste buds. Excellent beer

22 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a large creamy yellowish head that lasts. The aroma quickly diffuses out of the glass and includes citrus, pineapple, herbal hops and sweet caramel malt. The flavor is much the same as the nose: big hop presence with citrus and other fruit, floral, grassy The alcoand a fair amount of bitterness while the thick caramel malt adds balance. Alcohol is there, but not distracting. This is good fresh or with age.

Thanks to kegbear for this bomber. Pours golden orange with perfect thin white head that stays for the entire brew. Aroma is big with floral hops, citrus, sweet malts and a touch of pine. Flavor is unbelievable with big floral and citrus hops, sweet malts, pine and a smidge of suger. Nice lacing and exactly what I hoped for from this west coast hop bomb. Perfectly balanced Double IPA. What else is there to same about this terrific brew.

Pours out orangish gold color with white head. Taste is nice and hoppy. Citrus and floral notes. Slighlty sweet but still nice bitter finish. A great beer, one of the best of this stlye.

Wow was this amazing. One of the best beers I’ve ever had. So perfectly hopped and bodied that it feels like a single IPA at 6% in the mouth but burns with the tremendous sweetness and mouth watering tongue squeltering bitterness of a 12% IIPA. Just fantastic, purely citrussy, no floral, no pine. Just fantastically amazing. I had been expecting this one a long while, four years I looked for it, and it absolutely blew my mind.
