Sep 2, 2007 THANKS to Hellbilly for this Gem! Pours hazy orange with thick frothy head that disapates from 3 to 1 finger in about 10 minutes. lots of thick spotty lacing. Nice orange zest and hop aroma. nice floral flavor with a slight hint of vanilla on the finish. Very refreshing. alcohol well hidden.

Dec 11, 2009 Flaske: Orange gul øl med en del kæmpe protein klumper i der ødelagde den sidste del af øllen, derfor et fradrag i udseende. Duften er helt fantastisk. Humle, tropisk frugt med en let citrus gør den umiskendelig vestkyst på den rigtig gode måde. Smagen er også lige i skabet, men knap så fantastisk. Mundfylden er blid og blød. Ville elske at prøve denne øl frisk.

Jul 20, 2008 Updated: Aug 24, 2009bomber. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a fluffy white head. Nose is strong witha mix of citrus and pine. Taste is citrus and oh so delicious. Mouthfeel is medium with carbonation and a bitter finish. Very impressed with this. This is one of my favorite IIPAs.

May 31, 2008 Updated: Jul 23, 2008Pours light amber orange with thin white head. Floral aroma of hops, very nice! (Not too overwhelming or weak) Flavor begins with a nice and smooth citrus profile and then finishes with an intense kick of hops. Finishes dry with a smooth and medium weight body. This double IPA is really lacking in roasty flavor. Kind of suprising, but nice. A great beer for a hop-head in Southern California during summer!

Aug 25, 2008 A super sexy double IPA. Pours with a fluffy head, bright orange gold body, has tons of sediment dancing throughout. Smells like hops, malt, with some spice to it, and maybe even some butterscotch too. Strong flavors of hops, a tad bit of citrus, and a strong malt backbone. A tad astringent and puckering, leaves a layer of bitterness on the center of the tongue. Not a double IPA you want to rush. Very velvety and delightful. A must try, and near the top of its class.

Intensely aromatic with a huge hop profile. Flavor is full of hops, but also a strong and sweet maltiness. The flavors don’t combat each other at all, they compliment each other! Flavors of apricot and peach and a mild caramel undertone. Probably the best part is that it’s so wonderful to drink! It’s intensely hoppy, but also very malty and flavorful! A very mysterious and developing beer. I LOOOOOOVE this beer!

Aug 4, 2004 Pours a slightly hazy orange with a tall fluffy ivory head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass. Sweet malty aroma with a good dose of citrusy spiced hops. Taste starts sweet and malty with a bit of a spice kick to it. A nice bitterness finishes off the taste. A very smooth and well balanced IPA, excellent.
