Commercial Description:
During the summer, YuleSmith is transformed into a big, hoppy, Double IPA. The enormous load of hops requires a substantial malt background to create just the right balance for a Double IPA. Lighter in color, summer YuleSmith is available around the 4th of July and is packaged in a red, white, and blue bottle. For the winter season, YuleSmith is brewed as an Imperial Red Ale. This version is maltier, more balanced, and darker in color than the summer version. Although quite malty, big hop flavors and aromas are abundant making this an unforgettable winter warmer. Winter YuleSmith is packaged in traditional holiday red and green. Original Gravity Alcohol by Volume 1.085 9.5%

22oz Bottle. Mix of aromas with bread, malt and most noticable Citrus. Amber body good off white head left ring of lacing around upper part of pint glass. Good citrus hop flavor blended with camamel malt and some alcohol warming. Havn’t seen this one in my area since joining rate beer glad I finally got one.

Bottle. Pours red with thick off white head. Aroma is pine, malt, grass. Flavor is well balanced with malts leading the way, then citrus in the back. Very smooth finish.

22oz. Bottle. The beer pours a murky deep crimson with a frothy beige head with thick soapy lacing. Strong earthy citrus, and floral notes with huge amounts of sweet malt in the nose. The first thing that hit you is the bitterness. Then comes the malt and citrus. Huge body and a very chewy mouthfeel. Very warming. A very tasty and well made beer. Yet another reason to look forward to the holiday season!

Pours a deep dark red with a big fluffy head. Aromas of piny hops, fresh cut evergreen, cinnamon and candy spice. Huge hop flavor, brown sugar sweetness, rock candy sugar. Very silky and sticky. Might be my favorite beer of all time.

cool--double red IPA: light spice, medium bitterness, medium saltiness, medium sweetness; flavors or aromas noted--peanuts, caramel, orange, apple, grapefruit; very smooth with just the right consistency; very good.
