Aroma is mild liqourice, pinewood hoppy with a light roasted caramel malt note. Sweet and distinct bitter with a light acidic to citric touch. Mild roasted malt presence on the back of the tongue. Ends dry, bittered and slight spiced. Good balance between body and bitterness into the finish. Lasting mild citric fruity note.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grape - pine, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Jun 14, 2008 Hazy reddish-amber. Some citrusy, caramel hops and some breadcrust. Really chewy, lots of crystal malt, some light citrus hop. A hint of toastiness and some chocolate notes. Well-made but too chewy for me.

Wonderful dark amber color, hazy, with red and mahogany reflex; medium head. It has a very nice aroma, sweet caramel, powerful hops, fruity (tangerine, oranges, plums…), resiny and some vanilla. The mouthfeel is very bold, nevertheless smooth; it has a strong flavor of dark caramel, rhubarb candies, medium sweetness, full hopping, dynamic, with moderate resins and bitter orange peels; long and balanced final, yet strong and chewy. Very powerful, but also very well brewed. Excellent.
