1st macro beer offered at the annual K-W crapfest of bad beer. Pale gold, vanishing head, fizzy. No aroma but a light whaft of cereal and dextrin. Weak mouth feel, thin, bland and clean. No off tastes but certainly very little taste period. Typical over processed adjuct Canuk macro sludge.

Mini-growler from Half-Time. Pours a clear light brown amber with a medium white head. Looks deceive what lies ahead though, as I’m greeted by burnt grain and rancid nuts. Medium bodied and a bit sweet, with an unpleasant flavor that echoes the burnt odors. This is just unpleasant all around. Ends rather grainy and with a light bitterness that carries a bit of a metallic twang. I’m rather glad that I paid something like $2 for the 16oz mini-growler, as the bulk of this is going down the drain.

On tap at Strange Brew in Manchester, N.H. I am taking theior word for it that it was the lager but it seemed to have the qualities of a Red. The lighting was bad in the restaraunt but it appeared to pour a handsome amber with excellent clarity and about a half-finger of beige foamy head. The aroma was mostly of malts with a vague backgroud of fresh hops. Medum to creamy mouthfeel. The flavor was of sweet malts, caramel, and a good balance of hops. It was a smooth beer.

On tap. Pours a transparent gold with a small and fizzy head. Aromas are mostly of apple juice and a little bit of pepper and grass. Flavor is about the same... It’s light and refreshing, but rather uninteresting.

bottle bought by my uncle from Quebec. Well my hopes arnt high.......and well i was right to think so. Nothing fancy typical lager, nothing to write home about. pretty blah, but you know its drinkable, and for your typical macro lager fan they would enjoy this.

Pours a little darker than most american/canadian lagers. Aromas of corn, hops, and you know the rest. Flavor is a little more pronounced in this lager. Just a bit more flavor than most.

On tap at the fox and hound on mckight road in pittsburgh. Appears pale yellow. Clean beery aroma. Slightly fruity on the initial sip. Clean and refreshing palate. A very tasty lager and not over the top. Off tart flavor impact. Easy and well behaved. Not bad at all. Nice on draft with good carbonation. That tart feeling keeps sticking its head up. Does have a medium bitter linger, but is not ever overwhelming. Good beer, I enjoyed it for the most part.
