sayravai (3183), Helsinki, Finland Sep 28, 2008 (Bottled, drank at about 15C) Clear, dark amber with a smallish, firm head. Aroma of caramel and some roasted malt, with a hint of sourness and smoke. Sweetish-malty, caramely flavor with some alcohol presence, and dried fruit. Almost medium body with quite smooth carbonation. A simple, but smooth and reasonably balanced bock with not too much sweetness. Borresteijn (584), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 13, 2008 Bottle @ a tasting session. Ruby brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts and caramel. Flavour is very metallic, roasted malts and some dark fruits. Quite bitter. Bit thin. Don’t like the metallic flavour at all.
