Commercial Description:
Only our master brewers have the competence to create beers following rules set by years of tradition. Alhambra Especial is an excellent example of this. It is brewed with style and dedication, incorporating the knowledge and wealth of experience required to produce such a beer. The presentation is incomparable, different yet modern. The bottle is dressed in gold and white – symbolic of its purity. It projects an image of elegance.

Editor's Note: known in the U.S. as Especial Premium Lager and reduced slightly in alcohol to 5.0%.

Bought in Casablanca, Morocco, under the name of "Alhambra Premium Lager". This implies that I have forgotten, or somehow misunderstood, what the word "premium" means. Looks all right, tastes of water and vaguely metallic. Utterly forgettable, but at least it avoids the defects of other beers I’ve had in Morocco.
