Nekronos (1893), Xalapa, Mexico Jan 2, 2006 This was really good, probably one of the best by Alhambra. VEry dark, and good foam, it was really quallity there. Garigar (17), Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain Jun 28, 2007 I found it by coincidence in a supermarket I don’t use to go. I had heard about it and gave it a chance. Back home, I had pork meat with nuts for dinner what I expected to be a good company for the Alhambra.
As I opened the beer part of the beer poured out. That made me afraid of a too sttrong carbonation, but what was my surprise when I found a not so strongly carbonated beer with a really nice taste. A little malty, cereal flavoour and a strong "touch" I can only assign to the yeast. Wonderful experience with fried meat + soft spices and good chunk of bread. stu422 (1), Weston-Super=Mare, England does not count Mar 28, 2008 This,(my favourite Spanish beer), is a really welcome change from the usual lager type cervezas, goes well with olives or especially well with roasted almonds. Muy bien! mi gusta mucho! TheDog (247), Aarhus, Denmark Mar 29, 2007 Bottle found at Frits P Århus. Golden amber colour. Beige head. Aroma of caramel and bread. Taste of roasted malt, nut, caramel and hops. Pleasant medium mouthfeel with dry finish. The alcohol (7,2) shines a tiny bit through in the finish. A great strong lager from Granada, Spain. Mads Langtved (2246), København K, Denmark Apr 11, 2004 Red. Nice and complex. Far better than most Spanish lagers. The alcohol is very well hidden.
