gws57 (988), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Nov 11, 2007 Had this one bottled in Valparaiso, Indiana. Deep reddish-brown pour, opaque, with a thick tan head. Gentle coffee and malty nose, with a bit of sweetness, continues into the flavor. Lots of coffee malts, some caramel and butterscotch. Smooth finish. Pretty good!
azlondon (480), Greater London, England Aug 20, 2008 Appearance: Very dark brown. Not much head.

Info: 330ml bottle, 20/8-2008 dlovell2 (102), Columbia, Maryland, USA Aug 16, 2008 Dark brown color. Tan head that quickly disappeared. Brown sugar and Malt Aroma. Roasted chocolate taste. Slight hops taste at end but not a sharp finish. Smooth finish. CamdenD (570), Madrid, Spain Aug 11, 2008 This one is unfortunate. Alhambra’s reserva is a decent beer from a beer-poor country. This one fits better into the recent of Spain’s beer puke. Bland and whatever taste there is gets overwhelmed by its container. Buy in a can = tastes like aluminum; buy in a bottle = tastes like glass. Yes. Glass. blipp (683), Grand Island, New York, USA Aug 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours deep cola brown with a fizzy head. Sweet caramel and brown sugar aroma. Flavor is very much the same. Not awful. phishpond417 (1386), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 3, 2008 Pours a opaque black coloured body, with a medium size tan head. tint of red near the bottom. Slightly roasted malts, with a creamy mouthfeel, touch of oak and dry initially. decent body, and plenty of lacing, but i expected it to be a little heavier.
