Aroma of malt, chocolate, yeast, dark fruit, and vanilla (from the barrels, no doubt). Flavor is malt and chocolate up front with the vanilla from the bourbon barrels and the roasted coffee/malt notes competing with each other in a fabulous way on the back end. Nose-smells like La Folie, butter, sour, jasmine tea. Taste-butter, smoked tea, usual barrel aged flavors, some tannins from the wood. Nicely done.
