Pours slightly hazy amber-brown with little head that laced the glass till the end. All the "proper" Belgian flavors and well balanced for the Abbey Dubble style. Not much different than all the other U.S. produced Belgian Abbeys out there. Side by side with Ommegang, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Worth the $1.95 a bottle at the Candlewick. ryan (1778), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

The aroma is toffee, dark fruits, milk chocolate and light spice. The flavor is caramel, candi sugar, herbal, spicy hops, banana and plums. Medium body with soft carbonation, proper attentuation, very well done. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
